Dr. Sidney Stone Brown grew up in Northeast corner of the Blackfeet Nation of Montana. She is a member of the nation and currently works as the Behavioral Health Director at Navajo Regional Behavioral Health Center. At the age of 55 she went back to school to earn her Psy.D. and has applied tribal perspective to psychology research. She has dedicated her life to helping people heal from substance abuse and enhancing trauma informed care.
Sidney is currently completing a four step study Post-Doc as a screening tool for Indigenous People worldview, enculturation promising practice leading to an evidence based model of Native People.
